　プラネタリウムを自宅で投影する、同じ6月の夜空を何回見たことだろう。いや同じではない。太陽系も銀河も動いている。
そして私の周りの人の人生も

　子供は大人になり、親になり、親は亡くなる。星も生まれ、老いる、流れ星の聞こえない囁きを聞く。

宇宙そのものに意味はない、私の大切な親友は私に言った。それでも思う。そこに神はいると私は思う。

How many times have I watched the night sky of June, projected onto the ceiling of my own home planetarium?
Yet it’s never truly the same — for the solar system moves, and so does our galaxy.
And so do the lives of those around me.

Children become adults, become parents. Parents pass away.
Stars are born, age, and die.
I listen to the silent whispers of shooting stars.

“The universe itself holds no meaning,”
my dearest friend once told me.
Still, I believe — somewhere within it, God is.

The solar system moves. The universe moves.
Beyond the Ptolemaic and Copernican models,
to live is not so bad.
