こども食堂プラネタリウム　満天の空で

　トラブル続きの中仕事を切り上げて、子ども食堂にむかい、プラネタリウムの準備をする。雪や冷たい雨で、子供が少ない。
　大学生のボランティアが引き上げる。雨のこと、仕事のこと、保育園のこと、テレワークのこと、子育ての事、福祉の事。
地域にいる難民のこと。様々な話題が飛び交う。

むりに何人かの、近所の人に来てもらう。幼児と母親いくつかの家族と中高年の大人と時間を過ごす。子ども、お母さん、大人と掛け合いながら。
　地球から太陽系、銀河系、その外の宇宙旅行ソフトをともに見る。私たちの宇宙の中の位置、一日、季節、一年の仕組み。星の一生を語り、今日の星空をプラネタリウムで見せる。動物、人間をかぶせながら星座を語る。

　農家と漁師と星の関係。神話と地球各地、沖縄、北海道、中国、アフリカ、南米の様子に思いをはせる。

　惑星と人工衛星、太陽系内外の生命に思いをはせる。

　星座の線を外して、ただ流星の見える満天の空をみんなで見つめる。

Children's Cafeteria Planetarium - Under the Starry Sky
Amidst ongoing troubles, I wrapped up work and headed to the children's cafeteria to prepare for the planetarium. Due to the snow and cold rain, fewer children came.

The university student volunteers left. Conversations swirled—about the rain, work, daycare, telework, parenting, welfare, and the refugees in the community.

I invited some local residents. We spent time with young children, mothers, and middle-aged adults, engaging in conversation.

Together, we explored the universe—starting from Earth, through the solar system, the Milky Way, and beyond. We watched software that simulated cosmic travel, learning about our place in the universe, the mechanisms of a day, the seasons, and a year. I spoke about the life cycle of stars and showed them the night sky through the planetarium. As we discussed constellations, I connected them to animals and humans.

We reflected on the relationship between farmers, fishermen, and the stars. We thought about mythology and different cultures—Okinawa, Hokkaido, China, Africa, South America.

We contemplated planets, artificial satellites, and the possibility of life beyond the solar system.

Finally, we removed the constellation lines and simply gazed together at the vast, star-filled sky where shooting stars streaked across.
