話し合い、人権、民主主義は当たり前ではない　1

　民主主義、人権は当たり前ではない、ギリシャローマ時代からすると2000年フランス革命からすると200年ぐらい、戦後からすると100年にもならない。人類が誕生してから、生物が誕生した時からすると本当に一時代、と規定の地域、特定の集団の中でしか存在しない。

　生き延びるための手段、弱肉強食、環境適用、その中の一部に、話し合い、納得、民主主義が存在する。そう考えたほうがいいのではないか。人を最後には大切にできるのではないか。

　地域で、組織の中で過ごすと改めて思う。地域で様々な分断があり、それぞれが、交わることがない。それぞれが、政治家、役所に動くことを求める。もしくは、自分と同じ趣向のあるもの同士が固まる。ある集団、個人は、役所、政治家には関わらない。

　地域を超えても、国を超えても同じ趣向の集団、人とつながる。生き延びるために。民主主義は公の財産、人々の財産を奪い合う弱肉強食一つのツールに過ぎない。そこに、哲学や理想、思いやりが入れ混じる。社会維持や治安維持が入る。

　地域を超え、世界に同種とつながり、それでも生き延びれないとき、地域に戻り、話し合いや民主主義の在り方を考え、分断を乗り越えようとする。が、たいがい、世界に出て、生き延びて、戻ってこない。都合のいい地域を国を求めて地域や国を捨てる。
　
　会社を転職するのもある意味同じだろう。

　組織の中も弱肉強食は変わらない。納得、コンポライアンス、イノベーション、成長の機会、成果主義も同じ枠組みの中でつながる。
その中で、労働組合は、弱肉強食に敗れた。論理と正義の怒りは敗れた

　地域の中で組織の中で

　チラシ作成、ワ－クショップ、会議、報告書、事業計画、製品開発、デザインをするだろう。弱肉強食を前提に事実を把握し、感情をコントロールして、チラシ作成、ワ－クショップ、会議、報告書、事業計画、製品開発、デザインをしよう。そこから、違いを確認しながら、話し合い民主主義を組み込んでいこうそう思う。時々、怒っていいいいだが、その前にやることはある。

　弱肉強食を認め、同種の人に逃げない。その場にとどまる。弱肉強食の中、今の民主主義は絶えても、新たに民主主義は進化すると思う。人は進化すると思う。いや、神が人を育てるための計らいだと思う。

Discussion, Human Rights, and Democracy Are Not Guaranteed
Democracy and human rights are not guaranteed. From the ancient Greek and Roman eras, they've lasted about 2000 years; from the French Revolution, roughly 200 years; and less than 100 years since World War II. Considering the history of humankind or life itself, democracy and human rights exist only briefly and within limited regions or groups.

They are but one strategy among many for survival, part of a harsh natural selection and environmental adaptation. Discussion, consensus-building, and democracy might best be understood in this context—perhaps enabling us to genuinely value each other.

Being part of a local community or organization makes me realize how divided we often are. Each group rarely intersects, instead appealing separately to politicians or government officials, or grouping only with those sharing similar interests. Some individuals or groups avoid any contact with politicians or government altogether.

People seek connections beyond local and national borders with others sharing similar values or interests, driven by a basic instinct to survive. Democracy often becomes just another tool in the competitive fight over public or shared resources, interwoven with philosophy, ideals, compassion, social stability, and security concerns.

When people fail to survive by connecting globally with similar-minded individuals, they return locally, reconsidering democracy and dialogue to overcome division. Yet usually, those who successfully venture into the global arena rarely return home, choosing instead to abandon their communities or countries for more favorable environments.

Changing jobs or companies involves the same logic. Organizations are also spaces of competition and survival of the fittest. Concepts such as consensus-building, compliance, innovation, opportunities for growth, and performance-based results coexist within this competitive environment. Within this framework, labor unions have suffered defeat, and logical and righteous anger often proves ineffective.

Within communities and organizations, creating flyers, workshops, meetings, reports, business plans, product development, and designs must acknowledge the reality of competition and survival of the fittest. By acknowledging this, controlling emotions, and clearly recognizing differences, democracy can gradually be integrated through dialogue. Anger is justified at times, but there are more fundamental things to do first.

Rather than fleeing to groups of similar-minded people, we must acknowledge the competitive environment and remain present. Even if today's democracy collapses amidst this struggle, democracy will evolve anew. Humans will evolve. Or perhaps it is divine guidance, nurturing humanity.
