勇気　偽善　愛　信

　戦争に反対も出来ず、革命に参加も出来ない。ずっと、そのことに苦しんできた一生かけて。1950年代そのような人が少なからず
存在した。何故。私は、このことに、その人々にこだわるのだろう。彼らなら彼女たちは私を抱きしめてくれるだろうか。

　いや彼らはもういない、いたとしても名乗りで私を抱きしめる勇気はないだろう。偽善者同士は抱きしめ合うことも出来ない。

　戦争や革命、は差別、貧困、棄教と書き換えられ、財政赤字、国債発行と　様々に書き換えられる。私は彼らと同じだ。意気地のなさに自分を何度責め続けたことだろう。何年このことに苦しみ、生きてきたことだろう。
　
　
　偽善者であり、勇気のなさであり、愛すること信じることからほど遠い。せめて、ただ自分を世界を見つめ、のたうち回ることだろう。

Courage, Hypocrisy, Love, and Faith

Unable to oppose war, unable to join the revolution—
I have suffered my whole life because of that.
In the 1950s, there were many like me.
Why am I so drawn to them?
Would they have embraced me?

No—they are gone.
And even if they were here, they wouldn’t have the courage to embrace me by name.
Hypocrites cannot even embrace each other.

War and revolution have been rewritten as discrimination, poverty, and apostasy—
and then again as fiscal deficits and government bonds.
I am the same as them.
How many times have I blamed myself for my cowardice?
How many years have I lived tormented by this?

I am a hypocrite.
I lack courage.
I am far from love and faith.
All I can do is writhe, facing myself and the world.
That is where IENA RIDIA was born.
