Suffering, Worry, and Chatting — Each in Its Own Way
When I was young, I had engraved in myself the wish to be of help when someone struggled with a business card. I believed that my knowledge of systems, sense of justice, listening skills, and kindness could save people.
But knowledge fails, so I must relearn. Justice must be remade. The ability to listen must be rebuilt.
This year, when I saw a circle of women chatting and their smiling faces, I realized that my world is only a part, and what is precious differs for each person.
What I want to share is not words, but the sharing of rhythm.

Human suffering comes from social systems, and from humanity itself. I have gone back and forth between those two.
Now I see that human suffering is connected — not only through society, but across time and space between people. And chatting ties and loosens those connections.
Be strong, be weak, myself.
