あたたかいまち

対極から学ぶ　鎌倉にて
　
　知り合いで同じような立ち位置と、違う立ち位置の人の動画を見る。ビジネス展開とスピ－ド、ＩＴとアイヂアでに私はビビり、距離をおいてきた人たちがいる。歴史とくに人権労働運動の歴史や政治行政の仕組み、哲学から離れた動きは危ういと思っていた。

　少しずつその人たちのイベントに出て、ビジネス言語スキルを補うようにして来た。

　あらためて、実際に会ったあと、その人のライフヒストリーを含めたインタビュー動画をみると。共通点も、更に知らなかったその違った
発想が、見えてくる。


　ア－トデザイン、データ、人は、共通言語なのだ。美術を哲学的に宗教的に読み直し提供すること、テータの盲点を提供することはできることなのかな。企画書の一行、アイヂアの一つ二つは、対極だからこそ相手に提供できるかなと思う。

Learning from Opposites in Kamakura

I watch videos of people I know—
some who stand in a similar position to me,
and others who stand in very different places.

There are people whose speed in business expansion,
use of IT, and stream of ideas
once intimidated me so much
that I kept my distance from them.

Movements that drift too far away from history—
especially the history of human rights and labor movements—
or from the structures of politics and administration,
or from philosophy,
have always felt dangerous to me.

Little by little, I began attending their events,
trying to supplement my own “business language” skills.

And when I watch their interview videos again afterward,
this time including their life histories,
I begin to see both our common ground
and the very different ways of thinking
I had never noticed before.

Art, design, data, and people
are, in fact, a shared language.

Maybe what I can offer
is to reread and share art
through philosophical and religious lenses,
and to point out the blind spots in data.

Even a single line in a proposal,
even one or two ideas,
might be something I can offer
precisely because I stand at the opposite pole.
