鎌倉駅前蔵書室で「新旧約聖書を読む」ワークショップを行います
― 創世記、マタイ福音書、日本人のキリスト教入門、そして科学と信仰 ―
5月16日（土）10時から12時まで、鎌倉駅前蔵書室で、
「新旧約聖書を読む」ワークショップを行います。
参加費は、
鎌倉駅前蔵書室会員 500円、会員外 800円です。
今回読むのは、旧約聖書の創世記26章〜30章、新約聖書のマタイによる福音書16章〜20章です。
創世記では、イサク、ヤコブ、エサウ、ラケル、レアをめぐる物語を読みます。
そこには、家族、祝福、争い、逃亡、労働、財産、神との約束が描かれています。
マタイによる福音書では、ペトロの信仰告白、イエスの受難予告、赦し、小さな者、富と救い、ぶどう園の労働者、仕えることが語られます。資料でも、マタイ16章から20章には、「自分の十字架を負って従う」「子どものようになる」「七の七十倍まで赦す」「後の者が先になる」「仕える者になる」といった大切な主題が整理されています。
今回のワークショップでは、聖書本文を読むだけでなく、岡本亮輔『キリスト教入門の系譜』の視点も手がかりにします。
日本では、キリスト教は多数派の宗教ではありませんでした。
それでも、内村鑑三、遠藤周作、渡辺和子などを通して、キリスト教は文学、教養、倫理、生き方の問いとして、多くの人に読まれてきました。
さらに今回は、
「科学者は、なぜ神を信じるのか」
という問いも加えます。
科学は、宇宙、生命、自然法則、時間、物質の成り立ちを探ります。
一方で聖書は、世界はなぜ存在するのか、人間は何のために生きるのか、苦しみや罪や赦しにどう向き合うのかを問い続けます。
科学と信仰は、ただ対立するものなのでしょうか。
それとも、世界の仕組みを問う科学と、世界の意味を問う信仰は、別々の角度から同じ深みに近づこうとしているのでしょうか。
鎌倉という地域には、寺社、教会、古い道、海、山、文学、芸術、学びの場があります。
そのような場所で、聖書を読むことは、特定の信仰を押しつけることではありません。
むしろ、私たちが日々の暮らしの中で感じている、家族、仕事、お金、地域、孤独、赦し、希望について、静かに考える時間になると思います。
聖書に詳しくない方、信仰を持っていない方も歓迎です。
知識を競う場ではなく、一人ひとりが自分の生活と言葉から考える時間です。
二つの世界、二つの時空を行き来しながら、
教養としての聖書を、一緒に体感してみませんか。

——从《创世记》《马太福音》到日本人的基督教入门，以及科学与信仰
5月16日星期六上午10点至12点，
我们将在镰仓站前藏书室举办
“阅读新旧约圣经”工作坊。
参加费用为：
镰仓站前藏书室会员500日元，非会员800日元。
本次阅读的内容是：
旧约圣经中的**《创世记》第26章至第30章**，
以及新约圣经中的**《马太福音》第16章至第20章**。
在《创世记》中，我们将阅读以以撒、雅各、以扫、拉结、利亚为中心的故事。
其中包含了家庭、祝福、争斗、逃亡、劳动、财产，以及人与上帝之间的约定。
在《马太福音》中，我们将阅读彼得的信仰告白、耶稣对受难的预告、宽恕、小小者、财富与救赎、葡萄园工人的比喻，以及“服侍”的意义。
特别是《马太福音》第16章至第20章中，“背起自己的十字架跟随”“像孩子一样”“宽恕七十个七次”“在后的将要在前”“成为服侍的人”等主题非常重要。
本次工作坊不仅阅读圣经文本本身，也会参考冈本亮辅《基督教入门的谱系》的视角。
在日本，基督教并不是多数人的宗教。
但是，通过内村鉴三、远藤周作、渡边和子等人的著作，基督教长期以来作为文学、教养、伦理和人生问题被许多人阅读和思考。
本次还会加入一个问题：
“为什么有些科学家会相信上帝？”
科学探索宇宙、生命、自然法则、时间与物质的形成。
而圣经则不断追问：世界为什么存在？人为什么活着？我们应如何面对痛苦、罪、宽恕与希望？
科学与信仰是否只是互相对立？
还是说，科学追问世界的结构，信仰追问世界的意义，二者其实是从不同角度接近同一个深处？
镰仓这个地方，有寺院、神社、教会、古道、海、山、文学、艺术和学习的空间。
在这样的地方阅读圣经，并不是强加某一种信仰。
相反，它可以成为一个机会，让我们重新思考日常生活中的家庭、工作、金钱、地域、孤独、宽恕与希望。
无论是否熟悉圣经，是否拥有信仰，都欢迎参加。
这里不是比较知识多少的场所，
而是每个人从自己的生活和语言出发，一起思考的时间。
让我们穿行于两个世界、两个时空之间，
一起体验作为教养的圣经。

Workshop at Kamakura Station Library: Reading the Old and New Testament
Genesis, the Gospel of Matthew, Japanese Christian Introductory Thought, and Science and Faith
On Saturday, May 16, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.,
we will hold a workshop titled
“Reading the Old and New Testament”
at Kamakura Station Library.
The participation fee is:
500 yen for Kamakura Station Library members, 800 yen for non-members.
In this session, we will read:
Genesis chapters 26–30 from the Old Testament,
and Matthew chapters 16–20 from the New Testament.
In Genesis, we will follow the stories of Isaac, Jacob, Esau, Rachel, and Leah.
These stories speak about family, blessing, conflict, escape, labor, property, and the promise between God and human beings.
In the Gospel of Matthew, we will read about Peter’s confession of faith, Jesus’ prediction of his suffering, forgiveness, the little ones, wealth and salvation, the workers in the vineyard, and the meaning of serving others.
The material for this session highlights important themes from Matthew 16–20, such as “taking up one’s cross,” “becoming like children,” “forgiving seventy times seven,” “the last will be first,” and “becoming one who serves.”
In addition to reading the biblical text, we will also draw on the perspective of Ryosuke Okamoto’s Genealogy of Christian Introductions in Japan.
Christianity has never become a majority religion in Japan.
Yet through figures such as Kanzo Uchimura, Shusaku Endo, and Kazuko Watanabe, Christianity has been read by many Japanese people as literature, culture, ethics, and a way of questioning life.
We will also ask another question:
Why do some scientists believe in God?
Science explores the universe, life, natural laws, time, and matter.
The Bible, on the other hand, asks why the world exists, what human beings live for, and how we face suffering, sin, forgiveness, and hope.
Are science and faith simply opposed to each other?
Or do science, which asks about the structure of the world, and faith, which asks about the meaning of the world, approach the same depth from different directions?
Kamakura is a place of temples, shrines, churches, old paths, the sea, mountains, literature, art, and learning.
Reading the Bible in such a place is not about imposing a particular belief.
Rather, it can become a quiet time to think about family, work, money, community, loneliness, forgiveness, and hope in our everyday lives.
Everyone is welcome, whether or not you are familiar with the Bible or have a religious faith.
This is not a place to compete in knowledge.
It is a time for each person to think from their own life and their own words.
Moving between two worlds and two times,
let us experience the Bible together as a source of culture, reflection, and dialogue.
